interested in leading a group?

We'd love to support you with getting a group going. There is huge potential when a group of people commit to each other and so we're very excited you're considering this.

Our groups are intentional about a way of learning called discipleship. This is an ancient practice of devoting yourself to becoming like your teacher. In our case, we are committed to becoming like Jesus, together. You don't have to have it all together, just a willingness to point people to your teacher, Jesus. To do this, our group leaders take part in the following:

• Sending out daily, Bible-focused messages to your group (these can be forwarded from those we send out)

• Praying for those in your group (this could be done as you send the messages)

• Organising a weekly gathering (this could be in-person or on a video call. These can be as short as 30 minutes)

• Facilitating a time/s to pray, discuss the Bible and worship together (You may use our group guides for this)

• Coordinating the group to focus on a relevant mission area in your community

• Aim to call two or three core group members individually at least fortnightly, seeking to develop their leadership gifts

As you get started, we will provide you with daily message content, group facilitation guides, training and fortnightly coaching calls.
